Our firm represents Adom Sal Management Ltd., Ofer Yannay Sport, and Ofer Yannay in a lawsuit filed by Shaul Eisenberg, who claims to own the rights to the name Hapoel Tel Aviv and the goodwill associated with it. As part of the proceedings, Eisenberg filed a request for an injunction to prevent the transfer of rights in the team or the entry of investors, or alternatively, the sale of the rights without them being subject to the rights claimed by Eisenberg. After a hearing on the request, the court denied both of the requested remedies and ruled, with the parties’ consent, that anyone seeking to make a transaction involving the rights must inform potential parties of the ongoing legal proceedings.
